The trio will be playing John Casken’s trio (2002), Haydn, Schubert and Ravel. Prior to the concert, John is giving a talk about his trio, and Jane, Adi and Jan will be playing extracts. The Rautio Trio have performed John’s music several times, the trio at the Purcell Room PLG Young Artists Platform, South Bank 2007, and Jane and Jan played the violin/piano duo ‘Après un silence’ (1998) also at the PLG Purcell Room 2004.

The performed Haydn, Beethoven Op.70/1 and Ravel.

Jane, Adi and Jan spent a week in Prades working with Hatto Beyerle and Ferenc Rados.  They appeared in the French press and on TV prior to their performance. www.ecma-music.com
